COSTS TO FIND GOOD DISTRIBUTORS

The quality of the distributor-shortlist depends on 3  things: Access to good and complete sources, a systematic and effective way of working by a researcher with experience in this type of research and sufficient knowledge of the relevant sector or products. Our calculation and quotation is based on the time our researchers need, our database costs and sometimes support of local colleague-researchers.

The price for the second phase (contacting of the selected companies), is based on time needed by our specialist to make the contact with the right person. It can be done by you or by us. For both cases you will know from experience that this takes more time than just a phone call. Tracing the right person in the company, getting him or her on the phone or starting communication by email.  It often takes many arguments to catch the attention. If things work out well it will come to the point of scheduling a meeting at the distributors'offices or your own. When you want us to do that the price depends on time needed.


The price for the third phase (personal meeting) is also based on time needed and travel expenses.
If you want us to make the contacts and pay the visits, we need sufficient time to do so and we budget for that.

 
The first phase of the project is always invoiced in advance.
For phase 2 and 3 we prefer to work with a fee system based on a starting fee and a success fee which is payable once the distributor is appointed or a contract signed or a first order is placed. The travel expenses, which will be agreed upon in advance will be billed without any surcharge.

 Depending on the capacity and priorities of your own organisation you can do a part of this process yourself. But starting the project with a top quality shortlist garantees the best chance for success.
